Carla Ramos’ background spans over a decade of dedication and innovation in the Canadian fashion industry.
With an Advanced Diploma in Fashion Arts from Seneca College and years of experience in a diverse milieu of garment manufacturers and design environments, her work focuses on the interplay of femininity, humour, and nostalgic aesthetics, flirting with the covering points between high fashion sophistication and sincere kitsch. Her skills range from merchandising and sales in customer service environments like Joe Fresh, to manufacturing and precision quality assurance at Canada Goose. Her high level role at SSENSE saw her assist productions on set for promotional materials as well as crafting unique, expressive garments and products. Her independent freelance work has also contributed to her demonstrated record for thoughtful collaboration and knack for hands-on, lively, reliable workflow.
At Psycho Bunny, she has been responsible for the design and oversight of the production of hundreds of unique, innovative, high quality products including but not limited to hats, loungewear, swimwear, t-shirts, accessories, and fleece.
With a focus on sustainability stemming from her background in sourcing deadstock and thrifted materials, she infuses each design and product with a fervent passion for iconic, simple feminine elegance that reflects her one-of-a-kind point of view.
